On October 31st and November 1st, 2024, the Fifth Hieratic Conference of the Holy Archbishopric of Crete was held at the magnificent Holy Church of St. Peter in Heraklion, Greece. This two-day seminar was organized by the Association of Alzheimer’s Disease of Heraklion “ALLILEGII”, in collaboration with the Holy Archbishopric of Crete and the Prefecture of Crete.
The main objective of the conference was to inform and raise awareness among the clerics, equipping them to provide essential support to patients with Alzheimer’s disease and their families when needed.
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of the 2D-BioPAD project by our partner Dr. Magda Tsolaki from Alzheimer Hellas. This innovative initiative showcases a new approach to addressing Alzheimer’s disease, offering tools and insights to advance care and support for those affected.
