Our partners Marianna Rossetti and Ruslan Alvarez from ICN2 recently participated in the SENSE Workshop in San Sebastian, an event focused on chemical sensing and 2D materials. Ruslan delivered an engaging talk, while Marianna presented a poster, both highlighting their innovative work on using 2D materials for Alzheimer’s disease prognosis.

The SENSE Workshop gathered experts to explore how 2D materials, including graphene, can enhance the performance of sensing devices and architectures. This event provided a valuable platform for discussing new advancements, challenges, and solutions in the field.

The team also had the chance to connect with Michal Otyepka from the sister project SUSNANO, sparking fruitful conversations on improving point-of-care sensing technologies. This collaboration strengthens ongoing efforts to push forward breakthroughs in the field.
