ICN2 took part in the I Workshop of the NyNA Consortium – Young Researchers in Nanoscience and Analytical Nanotechnologies from May 26–29, 2025, at the Ciudad Real Campus (UCLM). More than 40 PhD students from different parts of Spain attended the workshop to share their ideas and learn from one another.
During the event, Ronaldo Challhua from ICN2 presented a poster titled “Graphene-Based Electrochemical Lateral Flow for Alzheimer’s Disease Prognosis.” His work shows a new, portable tool that uses special graphene electrodes and simple biological molecules to help detect signs of Alzheimer’s early. This easier and quicker test could help in spotting the disease sooner.
