At the end of November, we participated in the “Dementia: Prevention and Care” event on the island of Lesvos, Greece. The event took place in two different areas of the island, allowing many local community members to attend.
Our partner Dr. Magda Tsolaki from Alzheimer Hellas took part in the event with a talk titled “Smart Ideas for the Prevention of Dementia”. She shared clear and practical advice on how to support brain health and reduce the risk of dementia.
The discussions also focused on ways to support people living with dementia and on the importance of self-care for caregivers and families.
The event was an opportunity to exchange knowledge, raise awareness, and strengthen community understanding of dementia prevention and care.
