2D-BioPAD will participate in the 14th Panhellenic Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease & 6th Mediterranean Conference on Neurodegenerative Diseases, which will take place from February 13th-16th, 2025, at the Grand Hotel Palace in Thessaloniki. The conference, organised by our partner Alzheimer Hellas and the Panhellenic Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases, offers a unique chance for professionals to learn about the latest research on dementia and neurodegenerative diseases.

One of the highlights of the event will be a session on Erasmus + and HORIZON projects on February 13th from 12:30-13:30 (CET), focusing on the 2D-BioPAD project.

Key Presentations:

  • “Clinical Validation of a Novel Point-of-Care Diagnostic Aid for Early Detection and Monitoring of Alzheimer’s Disease” by Anthoula Tsolaki. This presentation will explain how the 2D-BioPAD system is being tested for clinical use, offering an easy and reliable way to detect Alzheimer’s Disease early and monitor its progression.
  • “Socio-economic and Clinical Needs and Challenges in Early Detection and Monitoring Alzheimer’s Disease in Primary Healthcare in Greece” by Foteini Aikaterini Pikouli and Maria Aivazoglou. This session will discuss the challenges in detecting Alzheimer’s early in Greece’s healthcare system and how 2D-BioPAD could help solve some of these problems.

Attendees will have the chance to join discussions about the future of Alzheimer’s diagnosis and the role 2D-BioPAD can play in it.
