The 2D-BioPAD project participated in the Alzheimer’s Disease International Conference 2026 in Lyon, bringing its latest research on innovative approaches for Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics to an international audience.

During the conference, the project presented a poster based on the abstract entitled: “A graphene-based point-of-care decision support tool for Alzheimer’s disease blood-based biomarkers.”

The presentation highlights 2D-BioPAD’s work towards developing innovative, accessible, and reliable solutions for the detection and assessment of Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers. By combining advanced graphene-based technologies with point-of-care diagnostics and decision-support capabilities, the project aims to contribute to more effective approaches for early and accessible Alzheimer’s disease assessment.

Participation in the conference also provided an important opportunity for the 2D-BioPAD team to exchange knowledge with researchers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders working in Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegenerative disease diagnostics.
