2D-BioPAD was proudly presented at the Kuopio Neuroscience 50 Years Symposium, a landmark event celebrating five decades of neuroscience research at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) in Kuopio, Finland.

Bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, and experts from across the globe, the three-day symposium focused on the latest advances in neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, and stroke. Discussions highlighted the growing importance of multidisciplinary collaboration, early diagnosis, and innovative therapeutic approaches in shaping the future of brain health.

At the UEF Brain Research Unit booth, the 2D-BioPAD project attracted significant interest and generated engaging discussions on translational neuroscience and novel strategies for improving brain health. The event provided an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and fostering new collaborations within the neuroscience community.

A big thank you to Professor Alina Solomon and Project Coordinator Kaisa Paldanius for representing the project and engaging with researchers, clinicians, stakeholders, and other participants throughout the symposium.

The symposium not only celebrated 50 years of impactful neuroscience research in Kuopio but also reinforced the importance of continued collaboration and innovation in addressing some of the most pressing challenges in brain health.
