On 27 January 2026, students and early-career researchers joined an engaging online workshop exploring the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into research workflows. The session provided a practical introduction to the role of artificial intelligence in areas such as publishing, scientific communication, research efficiency, and ethical research practices.
Among the featured speakers was our partner, Cristian Bosch from CeADAR Ireland, who delivered an insightful presentation titled “The Best of Both Worlds: Domain-Knowledge Assisted Machine Learning.” His talk highlighted how combining domain expertise with machine learning approaches can lead to more reliable, efficient, and impactful research outcomes.
