2D‑BioPAD will take part in Graphene Week 2025, held in Vicenza, Italy from 22 to 26 September, for the second year running.

  • In the Open Forum, Apostolos Tsolakis (Q-PLAN) will engage in a cross-disciplinary discussion titled “Future Challenges to 2DM Integration,” addressing how cutting-edge 2D technologies can move from labs into European industries. In addition, at the Innovation Forum: Commercialisation Pitches, Dr. Tsolakis will present a graphene-based Point-of-Care In-Vitro Diagnostics device, discussing its market potential, team strength and readiness for commercialization.
  • In a joint workshop, BioMed & Health session, together with the MUNASET synergy project, will present recent achievements and future plans. In that workshop, Ronaldo Challhua (ICN2) will present on a graphene-based electrochemical platform for Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis.
  • Finally, in a broader innovation-to-application forum, experts including Vincent Bouchiat (Grapheal) will share how foundational materials research is being turned into real world technologies across composites, electronics, and biomedical fields.

Through its active participation, 2D-BioPAD will continue to build bridges to make Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis more accessible to everyone.
