On July 8th, 2024, partners from the 2D-BioPAD and MUNASET projects—both part of the Graphene Flagship Initiative—will host a joint online technology workshop to explore how graphene-based technologies and AI can revolutionise healthcare diagnostics and therapy monitoring.
The 2D-BioPAD project will present its efforts to develop a point-of-care diagnostic system for early Alzheimer’s detection, combining graphene, nanomaterials, aptamers, and AI to deliver highly accurate and accessible testing.
MUNASET will focus on its work creating graphene-enabled devices for monitoring treatments of depression and psychiatric conditions, offering new tools for personalised mental healthcare.
The workshop will close with a forward-looking discussion on collaborative opportunities across the two projects.
