Our partner, Magda Tsolaki from Alzheimer Hellas (Greek Association of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders), delivered a training session for healthcare professionals from the Municipality of Giannitsa, Greece. The event was held in a hybrid format, with participants attending both in person at Giannitsa City Hall and online.

During the session, Professor Tsolaki presented the important activities and initiatives of the Panhellenic Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease, within the framework of the cross-border INTERREG cooperation programme between Greece and North Macedonia.

The presentation also highlighted ongoing research and innovation initiatives in the field of Alzheimer’s disease. Among the featured projects, 2D-BioPAD was presented as an example of collaborative research contributing to the development of innovative approaches for Alzheimer’s disease.
