2D-BioPAD had a strong presence at the 35th Anniversary World Congress on Biosensors, held in Lisbon from May 19 to 22, 2025. The conference gathered over 1,200 participants from around the world and remains one of the most prestigious events in the biosensing field. Our partner, ICN2, presented two research posters that highlighted our latest advances in Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics using 2D materials:
- Electrochemical Lateral Flow Device for Early Alzheimer’s Diagnosis Using 2D Materials and Aptamers
This work introduced a portable electrochemical lateral flow platform that integrates graphene-based materials and aptamers for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers. - Electrochemical Immunosensor for Amyloid-β Detection Based on 2D Materials
This poster showcased a label-free electrochemical immunosensor featuring reduced graphene oxide electrodes functionalized with specific antibodies to detect amyloid-β peptides—key biomarkers in Alzheimer’s diagnostics.
In addition to presenting our research, 2D-BioPAD team actively contributed to the conference organisation by chairing several scientific sessions, underlining our ongoing commitment to advancing the biosensing community.
