The 2D-BioPAD project was presented at the Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS 2025), the leading European conference on magnetism, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from August 24–29, 2025.
JEMS 2025 provided a unique platform to highlight recent advances in both fundamental and applied magnetism. As part of this event, our partner AUTH contributed with two oral presentations.
- M. Angelakeris presented “PEGylated iron-oxide nanoparticles conjugated with curcumin for biomedical applications” in Symposium 06: Magnetic nanoparticles and nanoarchitectures
- A. Makridis presented “Functionalized Magnetite-Gold Nanoparticles for Enhanced Biosensing and Targeted Therapeutic Applications in Neurodegenerative Diseases” in Symposium 12: Biomagnetism and biomedical applications
Participation in JEMS 2025 not only showcased the scientific impact of 2D-BioPAD but also fostered discussions and collaborations with the broader European magnetism community.
