The 2D-BioPAD project had a successful presence at Graphene Week 2024, where our coordinator, UP-CATRIN served as a co-chair, contributing to the event's overall success.

Graphene Week 2024 attracted experts from around the world, creating a space for sharing ideas and knowledge. To support younger participants, the conference offered several student grants, encouraging their involvement in the discussions.

The 2D-BioPAD project showcased its work during two poster sessions, presenting a poster titled “2D-BioPAD: Supple Graphene Bio-Platform for Point-of-Care Early Detection and Monitoring of Alzheimer’s Disease.”

Our partner Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) delivered an engaging presentation during Plenary Session 4. His talk covered the latest advancements in nanotechnology and their impact on improving biosensing technologies.

A highlight of our participation was the joint organisation of a Biomed Parallel Session with the MUNASET project. This session focused on the use of 2D materials in biomedical applications, showcasing collaboration between projects. For further details about this collaboration, we invite you to read our press release.

Overall, Graphene Week 2024 was a great opportunity for the 2D-BioPAD project, placing it at the center of research and innovation in 2D materials and biotechnology.
